Two Day Clay Intensives (Handbuilding)
Day 1
9-12am
We will explore handbuilding with coil, slab, and pinchpot techniques. Students will work out of Heidi's art studio at her home on Wildlife Trail. These classes are small (2-6 children), to better allow for more private instruction. Students will make at least 3 projects. Children can visit our goats and chickens also! Suggested age range: 10 and up.
Day 2 (one week after day 1 to provide time for drying and baking in the kiln)
9-12am
We will be glazing our creations (they will be bisque fired, ready for glazing). Parents must schedule a pickup date to receive pottery once it has been fired in the kiln.
Price: $80 per child (covers teaching fee, clay, glaze, kiln firing costs)
Minimum suggested age: 10 (younger ages considered after consultation)
